Slightly bumpy around one window ?

No Stuart, that's new to me, at least in Hobbys.

If it is damp, and has resulted in swollen bmpy wall panels, then damage has already been done inside the sandwich of the wall. The wooden frame will most probably need attention.
BUT the most important thing will be to determine the source of the dampness. Is it the window seal or the roof-to-wall seam above the window?

It is certainly worth investigating if your dampness meter confirms that it is indeed damp.

I don't have a damp test meter but I can't see what else it would be.The bit around the window is very,very small but goes down one side and at the bottom of it.We are away again next weekend so will investigate further.cheers
