Postby big john » Thu Nov 13, 2008 8:32 pm

hi all,
just collected my dream, 650 wfu, I can stand up in it, and take a proper shower!!! what bliss. However, I like my pitza crispy, my bacon the same, but the downfall of this model is fitted microwave not oven/grill.
Can anyone out there help me? where can I get oven /grill which fits this caravan, cak tanks do a smev but its too wide. Tried Ambergate but my mail system is down. Oh, not to put you under any pressure, er indoors wants to go away at christmas!!!!!

thanks john

These ovens come up from time to time on Ebay but I have never considered that they are very good.
Many owners, myself included, use a free standing mini-oven which has the benefit of being usable in the awning.
I can recommend the Bifinet which is on sale this week for £19.99 but I can't remember it it is at Aldi, Netto or Lidl.

We also use a stand alone mini oven. much more versatile than a combined micro/grill and a good deal cheaper to start with... and he’s right the benefit of using it "outside" is a boon to cooking,, especially when cooking fish or curry.. £ 20 or less from Lidl .keep a look out for them they often have them... in fact I am sure our local store has some now… will check it out tomorrow...
