Hobby 650 wfu Part missing ? & water tank top-up ?

Postby timbo » Sat Mar 22, 2008 1:12 pm

Hello, re: Hobby 650 wfu 2005 ..... Just bought it, but there appears to be a sliding partition ? missing from obove the bottom of the bed, from the back of the kitchen worksurface up to the ribbed sliding doors which hang down from the roof that houses the TV. I guess if you have the same year/model you will guess what i mean !!! Can anyone provide a photo, as i need to make another. Have phoned Hobby Dealers and they want £275.00+ for a piece of wood !!! Also the lockable cap, for pouring the water through, to top up the water tank, located next to water tank door, has a lock, which works, the "screw" action of this cap works, but does not come out, is there a knack, or am i doing it wrong ? Any help on these two queries would be gratefully received. Cheers, Tim. P.S where can i get an awning from to fit, i'm told total length is 1091cm.

Unfortunately we can not post pictures on this site yet,bit of a let down,
but if you go to
http://www.caravanning4u.co.uk/forum/index.php
I'll post one on there of what I think you mean, look under "Hobby Fent Talk" in the forum list. "Sliding Partion" hope this is of help...

With regard to the water filler, if the filler is locked then it will just rotate, try your key and unlock it, when unlocked it will unscrew.
