Help/advice for a 89 swift corniche.

Hi everyone,

I'm new to caravanning and so far enjoying using my Swift at home ready to take it out later in the summer.

My problems (if anyone can help) are these. The basin in both the kitchen and bathroom are now not draining away. Is there a suitable cleaner I can use to clear them or is any domestic fluid suitable for septic tanks ok?
The tap in the kitchen is very slow flow. Do I need to replace the taps or could it be a replacement pipe needed or limescale on tap head.
And finally, the water heater is getting noisier and even sounds when the heater is switched off. I dont want to switch the electrics off in case I cant get anything back on. I am currently hooked up to an outside socket on my house. The floor in the middle appears to be soft to walk on but when I looked under neath it had a steel strap thing screwed on, is this ok? I dont want to go through the floor, I did question this with the dealer but he said it was repaired, they had done it but as he tried to rip me off, I'm not going back to query anything.
Apart from these little problems, I love my 'van and wish I'd got it sooner.
