Fitting a House battery on a 540ufe 2008 with new electrics

Postby Nomad1 » Mon Feb 14, 2011 8:16 pm

Hi People,

We bought a new Hobby Excelsior 540 ufe 2008 in Germany and store it in France. We fitted a Trumer SE Mover with a 110 amp battery and would like to connect it to the new style electrical system for interior lighting etc.
Could anyone help two Technophobic dum, dums with a simple plan, or is there a kit we can buy with a charger?

Regards,

Malcolm & Marlene.

That is a very popular DIY addition and there are lots of 'posts' here about it.
The original and best was done by "Doc" who sadly is no longer with us but his memory lives on in all his very valuable hints and tips. If you do a "search" for Docs articles on this I'm sure you'll find wht you want, but it is rather technical.
The alternative is to get a caravan service engineer to do it for you. They will know exactly what you want to achieve.
