brake adjustment

brake adjustment

hi all, anybody out their done their own brake/handbrake adjustment. i started on mine got the brakes all done only to find the handbrake would not come on (up to 90 derees vertical) any help would be appricated. cheers Phil.
I pull a 2000 "540 uf HOBBY" and love it.

Here is BPW's maintenance instructions. They used to supply it in a large wallchart at one time, try giving them a call. Did you make sure the auto reverse wasn't engaged before starting? You should only need to adjust the shoes on the backplate adjuster. The brake rod and lever shouldn't need touching.
