WATER TOP UP ON BOARD WATER TANK

Postby axeandy » Wed Apr 02, 2008 4:36 pm

Hi does anyone know of a supplier that can supply the bits to use a aqua roll in order to fill up the onboard water?
I have a FENDT 700 TMF 2008 the nearest water tap to my location is 80mtrs away . I was thinking of adding another onboard tank but if i can get some fitting so i can use a aqua roll pump which will basicallilly connect electrically to the submerged pump then pump the water from here to the onboard tank this would work.
I have seen 2 Fendts with this fitted on my site but the owners wont be aaround for a while so cannot ask them
Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks
Andy

get yourself a "whale pump" or similar, doesn't need to be to large a flow,
then a 12 volt car battery jumper box with a 12 v outlet, wire a in line switch to the pump elec lead(optional)
then a suitable length of pipe on to the pump.
Ben using mine for years on my hobby, just drop the pump in the aqua roll and the pipe in the on board tank and your away.
