Self sufficient Hobby

I recently purchased a secondhand 540ufe and have carried out some mods to make it suitable for use on a seasonal pitch with no hook-up.
I have fitted a Malaga gas water heater under the fixed front bed, this gives 15litres of piping hot water, enough for 2-3 showers if used carefully.
I generate my own electicity with 120watt solar panel charging a 200ah 12volt battery. I use a 600watt inverter pluged into the mains hook-up and all the internal electrics work perfectly. I avoid using as much electric lighting as possible because the Hobby is very energy heavy. I often use a gas lamp if reading and this still gives me enough spare electricity to watch2-3 hours of TV a night.
Future mods will be to replace some of the halogen lamps with LED bulbs if I can find any to fit.
My fellow caravaners are very envious of the luxury the Hobby gives me, as well as the extra room, I also have a 3.5 metre Anarca awning so have loads of space to sit in the evening.
