I read some time ago about a way of helping prevent caravan theft, but failed to bookmark the item.

The method was to rewire the connectors on the car's towbar socket, and on the caravan plug, in such a way that it works fine on your own car, but if someone tries to steal the van and plugs the caravan into a conventionally wired tow socket then it blows the cars electrics making it undriveable.

Does anyone have the wiring diagrams for this?
