Has anyone added one of these to their Hobby's or are they fixed at the factory.
Cheers

Yes Stu - Doc fitted a cycle carrier to the back of his Hobby 495 very successfully.

I'm sure he won't mind me giving the link to his webshots of the pics of it:-

Thanks for that.
The only thing that concerns me is that all the carriers I can find by Fiamma are stating they are for a Hobby 2003 onwards,as mine is a 2000 I wonder if I wil be able to fit it?

Sorry, can't advise you for certain on that.

Maybe another owner may be able to enlighten us all.

I,ve seen 2 diferent types for the rear of the Hobby by Fiamma. Mine is 2004 and is fitted to the actual rear panel. At the top, its held in place by a plate with 3 screws into the outer wall. At the bottom, its a plate and a bolt all the way through to the inner wall and then another
metal plate sandwiches the fixing together. Easy fitted. I used a sealant called 'Tiger Bond' to seal all the holes before final assembly. This is a panel adhesive and sealant used in the automotive industry.
The older Fiamma rack fits to the upper rail of pre 2002 models above the window by means of a special fitting kit available from Fiamma agents. It still requires bolting at the bottom as i described above in the newer rack.

This is the web that i bought mine from. They were very helpful and seemed to know what they were talking about, for a change.
