Hi we have a hobby 650 prestige with on board water tank. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas how to rig up an automatic water top up running from a hose pipe tap to water tank stopping and starting as the water level drops. Any help and ideas would be greatly appreciated.

You could just use the workings from a household water tank to start and stop the flow

The Germans have a system called Citywasser. This is a pipe fitted through the caravan floor and connected to a float system (like a domestic toilet) fitted to the onboard tank. Below the floor there is a snap on connector (Hoselock type) for the hose to couple up to the pipe. It is not difficult to make your own set up using domestic fittings from a DIY store at a considerable saving in costs.
