Towing a 2.5m caravan, as you all know is illegal unless you use something over 3500kg GVW. Well I am in the process of writing letters to MPs, Caravan Club, Manufacturers, etc, to try and get the law changed, But i need your help. It wont cost you anything but 5 minutes of your spare time. I would like you to vote in the above poll to see where people stand. If we hit them hard, they might give in (not get rid of law but change it for the better). I dint care if you love/hate, own/dont own a 8ft (2.5m) van. We still need your help. Please, vote, and if you have time, reply, and lets get the ball rolling.

I support what you are trying to do and would have voted in your survey but there is no place for me to record the fact that I tow my 8' wide caravan legally.

If you add the box for the legally towing people I will vote in your survey.

Thank you for your efforts to change the law, I had to buy a vehicle specially to tow the 8' wide caravan we bought even though I already had a large Mercedes car that met all the towing requirements except the over 3.5 tonnes GVW.
