I have just insured my Prestige 650 at www.4siteinsurance.co.uk. Roughly about 12 quid a month for 5500 value including awning.

Most insurance companies will not touch German twin axle caravans because they are 12 times more likely to be stolen...Most people i know insure with the old CO-OP as it used to be known or the CIS as its now called..One advantage of the CIS is that the van does NOT need to be CRIS registered www.cis.co.uk and caravans come under the heading of Home insurance
Hope this helps

Hobby insurance can be obtained without any special conditions from CIS.
This covers the owner for the van when used as a static and when in transit between sites.
I insure the van only but they will cover contents as well and the renewal premium for £7500 in Feb of this year was £212.00
My Van is located in an area where because of the proximity of a large travelers site, no other insurance company would touch it
