circuit board update

Postby esdave » Tue Feb 23, 2010 1:13 am

:D Hello my names Dave the electronics engineer from talacre northwales, If you have been following the technical information that I have given that was started by silverstreak and then rich/ Richard carried on by asking for repair information on his DOMETIC SMP190-01 converter unit, The fault richard had was only some of his lights are working, so I gave him various test to do and after many emails I said no your converter is not the fault but in the mean time richard went to the agents and the agents said it is your converter" It.s always that" so I said no from the test we have done it is 100% not the converter ,Anyway to cut a long story short richard sent me the converter and the relay board to test on load ,As I said to begin with it was not the converter but the relay board at fault which I then repaired , Both then tested and returned to a happy richard, Yet if richard had taken notice of the agents that could have been £350 down the drain, so if you suspect your DOMETIC converter of having a fault please follow the information given in the forum kind regards Dave
