STOLEN FENDT & HOBBY 4th MARCH 2009

BEWARE THEY ARE ON THE PROWL
This was a very very organised gang who wanted specific models, Mine the FENDT 700 TMF 1008 Model was stolen last night as well as a Hobby 700 2007 from our site in east yorkshire.
There ALKO hitclocks broke, chains broke around wheels, wheel locks removed!!!

The site has secure barriers operated with key cards but there is a farmres track running around the back of the site! There was a 5ft high much / mud pile which they dug out and used pavers / fence panels as a ramp, they even removed a tree and 5mph sign so they could hitch the vans on 2 stolen cars, 1 a estate peugot and 1 a 4x4 Nissan. The caravans were hitched up and pulled over the site over the muck pile and accross a farmers field to a bypass at Leven / Brandsburton.

This happend around 12:30 to 1am...and thank god for Police patrols in the area. A patrol heading down the bypass saw the fendt with mud hanging off the back being towed and so pulled the car over..the other sped off and was cought in Beverley . What a result all that hard work digging cutting and they got only a few miles away and got arrested! Police have addresses from Leeds & Doncaster for these people and the houses were getting searched this evening!!!!!

So beware FENDT & HOBBY owners they are travelling around looking for easy targets. My friend who has the pitch next door to me has the same FENDT700 and he removed the actual A Frame some months ago. we feel sure that if this had not been done then 2 Fendt would have gone.

iF YOU KEEP YOUR VAN ON SITE REMOVE THE A FRAME

Thanks to Humberside police for the work and recovery
