Manchester Caravan and Motorhome Show 2006

I shall be making a trip to G-Mex in January to see the Hobby UK stand, amongst others. There were no Hobby caravans on show at either Exel or Earls Court, sadly.

Hobby UK don't advertise any Excelsior variants on their site, so I guess I won't see any of them. Do any members have experience of these top-of-the-range models - are they worth the extra cost over Excellent and Exclusive?

I know some contributors have been to Dusseldorf for the late Summer show to look at the latest models - did you find the trip worthwhile? On a more fundamental level, is it possible to get hotel accommodation in Dusseldorf during the show, or is everywhere packed out? I shall probably travel by Eurostar and connections, rather than by car, so local insight would be very useful.

I didn't realise Hobby UK had a stand at the show in Manchester ?
I assumed such a stand would be dealer run. If there is an official from Hobby at the show I would like to have a chat with a view to sponsorship for the club or at the least some freebies for all club members.

Sorry Nick; I may have misled you.

The list of exhibitors includes "Hobby Caravans UK Ltd" which may not be the same thing as "Hobby UK"

They have booked stand 113 but the site for the show doesn't show how large this stand is.

Hi Nick.

Last year J&G Trading went to Manchester. I think you know them!

Cheers

Thanks

I do indeed know the folks at JG and they once more came through with some bulb holders for my reversing lights.
